As a crocheter I love nearly everything I make so much I want to keep it forever .

This leads to a problem though. We can really only use so many blankets, sweaters, cup cozies, coasters, doilies, and so on. Everyone I know has received one or maybe two as a gift, and I have donated a great many and randomly gifted more blankets to complete strangers. Somehow I am still left with a stack of finished items.... Read more

To yourself, respect.” ~ Oren Arnold As Christmas approaches this year, and I think especially this year, my thoughts turn to family. I love going shopping. I have a black belt in it . – Russell Crowe I was myself out and about on Black Friday. After dropping the car off at the mechanics to get my winter tires on, I innocently walked over to the nearby mall to pass the time. Oh, my goodness, it was packed. Each store had skimpily dressed young women at the door to entice shoppers in. The cafés were crowded with exhausted shoppers.... Read more

These denim shorts don't leave much to imagination.
I found them with 53 likes on a wheretoget.it titled " Where to get these... Read more

Hello Everyone,

Today I wanted to discuss a charity that I work with frequently called " Knitted Knockers ". This organization works to provide women who have undergone mastectomies with knitted prosthetics .

A mastectomy is the removal of one or both breasts, for those who don't know, and the knitted prosthetics work to take place of the breasts and are both comfortable and adjustable for... Read more
A mother is not a person to lean on, but a person to make leaning unnecessary.
– Dorothy Canfield Fisher

It’s the beginning of Spring and Mother’s Day is upon us once again.

How can we thank our mothers for everything they have done, and continue to do, for us? Moms make possible our very existence, they patch us up when we fall, make the best grilled cheese sandwiches. Taxi driver,... Read more
Hello Everyone!

I am a newcomer on iCraft, and am enjoying the website's emphasis on "handmade" crafts .

For many years I have been on Etsy, as a crochet swimsuit maker . Recently, I have noticed that there is more "mass" products made in China or other overseas countries being sold on Etsy, or through an Etsy seller located in other parts of the world (USA, for example).

Well...... Read more
