The Vendor’s Lifestyle: 2 Rivers Remix Market

Friday morning early……Fear tinges her awakening remembering the market at Lytton, that she still needs food - eggs, avocadoes, cranberry juice - or, maybe not……maybe she can just go with what she has…rice, oranges, rice crackers. It will be a small market in a tiny town. This is the first year…

Saturday a.m...She had... Read more
Another ‘first’, this time right in town, just down the hill. It should be easy, no travel or overnight bag required…but there’s always the emotional baggage, the internal persona that mouths off: Your prices are too high…Who’s going to buy anything?…The designs are not right… Enough to make her doubt and wonder if she should go at all…

But, of course,... Read more
So here she is again, Saturday morning and one more time at the Abbotsford Rock & Gem Show, sleeping under the canopy in the ‘compound’ with a cluster of RVs which are on the ‘other side’ of it. Rain, light tip taps on the metal roof, woke her early morning. Harder ones get her up later on but still a bit early considering it’s a long day ahead. The rain comes and goes in tempo... Read more
As a crocheter I love nearly everything I make so much I want to keep it forever .

This leads to a problem though. We can really only use so many blankets, sweaters, cup cozies, coasters, doilies, and so on. Somehow I am still left with a stack of finished items.... Read more

To yourself, respect.” ~ Oren Arnold As Christmas approaches this year, and I think especially this year, my thoughts turn to family. Spending time with people close to us, be they related or not is the way to keep our spirits... Read more
I love going shopping. I have a black belt in it . – Russell Crowe I was myself out and about on Black Friday. After dropping the car off at the mechanics to get my winter tires on, I innocently walked over to the nearby mall to pass the time. Oh, my goodness, it was packed. Each store had skimpily dressed young women at the door to entice shoppers in. The cafés were crowded with exhausted shoppers.... Read more
I don't know when exactly (or why) clothes with holes became edgy and fashionable.

I still remember the time when I had to patch a ripped hole in my clothes. Now, it's not something people do regularly. Some even add more holes to their clothes on purpose.

These denim shorts don't leave much to imagination.
I found them with 53 likes on a wheretoget.it titled " Where to get these... Read more
