Buying Valentine Day presents is challenging, regardless who you are buying them for. Though buying presents for men I find especially difficult. I think buying handmade items will make your present, at least, unique, but if your man is into gadgets and sports, he probably won’t appreciate staffed animals or handmade hearts, right? Even though that’s probably what you find cute and romantic. So what handmade products would you buy for a guy like that?
Here are a few of my thoughts on this.
If your guy is into gadgets and loves watching TV, this wonderful
Pocket Pillow Remote Holder in Classic Ralph Lauren from
PillowThrowDecor might be the perfect gift for him. He can stick whatever he wants into it - his glasses, remote control or a phone - to keep at his fingertips during a hockey game or an action movie without any interruption. And he'll think of you each time he watches TV, which is probably pretty often.
Even though some of those guys have tough exterior, they still may be sensitive and romantic at heart.
Finding gifts that remind them of good times you spent together, places you visited or things you've said to each other during special moments, will make those presents more special... but that's hard and unique to each couple.
Start by looking at
handmade cards and see which one your guy will appreciate the most. They are all one of a kind and some have pretty funny messages. I personally like this one "Sweet on You" by
Ensorcelled Minds.
Jewelry for him? Why not? This classy and simple silver band made by one of my favourite jewelry designer on iCraft
Christen Largent is ideal for situation when you want to make him feel extra special. You can inscribe your name, a special message or a poem on it or just say those 3 words that never go out of style on it.
I think you can even buy
stuffed toys for him, like those presented by
Eckel and Noo from their Valentine Love Buddy Collection, if he has a good sense of humor.
Anyway, whatever you choose, he'll appreciate the fact that you took the time to find him something thoughtful and original.
