I agree Christine, everyone is doing a fabulous job with this!

OK, I have to leave for work but I've made 2 new listings for lampwork beads in my iCraft shop, and a new listing on Craigslist and Kijiji.

The rest I'll do when I get home later this afternoon...whew.

Have a great day everyone!

Time to read the article now...getting a little behind but I'll catch up on the weekend.

I had a response from an ad on Craigslist but I think it was a spammer...wanting to purchase my item if I would send my Paypal address.  I directed him/her to my website for purchase and payment...nothing.

Oh well...

Man alive I'm gonna be roadkill with this group!

I have been zooming around but not finishing my homework Sad  When my husband gets home from work I do ask him "how many cards did you get out there today dear???" I can't believe that I am so lucky to have such a sweetheart (my highschool sweetheart but with 32 year intermission)  Smiley

HOWEVER.... my big event today was stopping in at a buddy's office. I went to see her on another matter and she asked what was I up to these days since retiring. I remembered to pull my card out... she was thrilled!  I gave her another 12 so she could hand out around the office and she is going to put me in her October newsletter. She's a realtor and has probably  2500 + mailing list. I said I would offer a draw for it. I think I need to drop off some samples for her as Realtors do get involved with home decor A LOT! I was a Realtor for 26years and I taught more then half of them in my area.  So of course I am thinking I should "farm" Realtors.  I am going to play with monogramming and embroidery so that I can write " Welcome Home from Susie Realtor" somewhere descretely or something... any ideas anybody?

I am thinking of some "extreme marketing" ideas!  Realtors give gifts! ... not just when the client moves in but also at Christmas.  Realtors LOVE Samples.  Drop some samples off with the "shooters"... those are the top 15% that make 85% of the money.  Think of a way you can get THEIR NAME on your item so that the buyer, to whom the gift is given, will never forget the name of the realtor that gave it. Tell them you'll save them the time and the anquish of Christmas shopping.  they'll really like that!!!

I would have been a sucker for that kind of stuff and I spent huge dollars on client appreciation gifts!!!

Cheers

Gosh, Christine, your Realtor target market is fabulous. I agree - keep brainstorming!! I love the "welcome home from susie realtor" one. That is genius. Keep us posted on that.

Karen,

Those listings are a great start!

I might be able to help with the links...what are you trying to link your iCraft shop to?

Even though there are 10 on the Buy and Sell you can still join in...read the rules, have a look in the shops, and make a purchase from one of them.  Then update the store list, taking the store you bought from off the list and adding yours.  Then someone else who wants on the list will have the opportunity to buy you off.

I'm behind you 100%... Yes I support you in your Bootcamp endevours but I really am behind you... I'm probably the most behindest of everybody.  I wake up in the morning and just shake my head wondering... Gawwwwd and now I have to get dressed....who was the dummy that thought marching around with business cards was such a good idea?   don't worry about being behind... Skip some ad stuff if you can save some time that way.

It will lighten up a bit... I promise Smiley
