Welcome! All jewelry items are designed and created by me, Julie Rivet.

I have been fascinated by stones since I was first given 2 polished stones as a young child - a piece of amazonite and a tiger eye. While my taste in stones has changed - I tend to favour stones in blues, greens and purples now - I still feel the same curiosity and enchantement as I did then. Making jewellery satisfies my need to create, to experiment and to play with shape, colour and texture.

I enjoy dreaming up designs, selecting materials that will go into a piece and putting everything together so that the design works. I use wirework and metalsmithing techniques in many of my pieces which allow me to add texture and depth to them. I incorporate a variety of materials into my designs: copper, sterling silver, semi-precious stones, lampwork glass, leather, suede, etc.

When I make my pieces, I start with raw materials (wire and sheet) and cut, shape and texture them myself. I saw, file and texture silver and copper sheet to be used in pendants, rings and earrings. The wire links, clasps and ribbon ends used in my pieces are hand-crafted by me. The lampwork glass I use is purchased directly from the artisans who make it.

Many of the pieces I make are one-of-a-kind. I enjoy working with free form cabochon stones and unique lampwork glass beads.

When someone purchases one of my pieces I hope that she enjoys wearing it as much as I enjoyed making it.


All my jewelry is made in my smoke-free, but cat friendly home.
