It’s never too late to add an entry to this series of blog challenges.  All you have to do is make something that can be linked to the theme and then make a blog post on your iCraft blog about it!  Don’t forget to come back to the thread and post a link to your blog entry (once approved).

This challenge is open to ANYONE!  Here's how it works:
1. The challenge is listed.
2. You create something that fits the challenge.
3. You blog about your entry on your iCraft blog describing how it fits the theme.
4. Post a link to your blog entry (once it is approved and posted) in this thread for all of us to see.
5. Comment on other people’s blog posts.

Your blog entry should include, at a minimum: how the item fits the challenge, a little about you/your shop, and – of course! – pictures of your item.  Feel free to add more to your blog post, like, how you got your idea, or the techniques you used, or what you thought about the challenge, and any other insights you see fit!

CHALLENGE 1: Wind
You can find the thread for that challenge here: https://icraftgifts.com/forum/1221/icraft-elemental-blog-challenge-1-of-5/

CHALLENGE 2: Earth
You can find the thread for that challenge here: https://icraftgifts.com/forum/1239/icraft-elemental-blog-challenge-2-of-5/

CHALLENGE 3: Water
You can find the thread for that challenge here: https://icraftgifts.com/forum/1256/elemental-blog-challenge-3-of-5/

CHALLENGE 4: Fire
Things that represent fire or that are inspired by fire include:
- anything with flames on it
- anything red, orange or yellow
- lava rocks
- the sun
- candles
- candle holders
- lighters
- fire fighters
- any other ideas that come to you!

Remember, you can go back and participate in any stage of the challenge at any time!

(Are you wondering what the 5th element is?)

I'll give you a hint....

It's not Milla Jovovich (or however you spell her name).  (Thinking the movie 5th Element, good movie though!)

Who's in?

Got red?  You're in.
Got fire? You're in.
Got firetrucks?  You're in!
So many ways to participate!

She's the main star in the "Resident Evil" saga too.

I just googled "The Fifth Element".  1997.  Wow, more than 10 years ago now.

"In the colorful future, a cab driver unwittingly becomes the central figure in the replacement for a legendary cosmic weapon to keep Evil and Mr Zorg at bay."

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119116/

So... back to our fourth element: Fire.  I'm behind myself on this one!  I'm also a little bit stumped.  I wanted to use flames but not sure that's going to work.  I might just fall back on using red!  Much bigger range of possiblities that way.  Wink

I am a big fan of Mila Jovovich. She looks great in red or with a red lipstick!
She is also a good singer, though I haven't hear any songs from her lately.

By the way, I have a perfect product for this challenge - a fiery red sweater! https://icraftgifts.com/handmade/3175/bright-red-ladys-sweater.php
I just need to find time to blog about it.

Yep - that sweater does fit the bill quite perfectly!  I'm heavy in to Halloween right now, but I could just think about Christmas, I might have something red to post!

Great blog post and wow... that card is just gorgeous!!!

I guess you must be in the throws of getting your Christmas line ready? I have a huge fall line but with any luck I can sell it before I have to list it all.  Ha ha ... that's being funny. Christmas shows coming up so getting 3 Christmas ideas done too.  Funny getting ready for Christmas Smiley
