Stocking Stuffer Ideas from iCraft
|
Growing up, my favorite part of Christmas was opening the stocking. It seems everyone in the family had their own method of doing this. There are the "dumpers" (dump it all out in a pile and then dig through the loot) and the "pickers" (one by one pick things out of the stocking and examine carefully). When I was younger I was definitely a dumper, but now I like to savor every moment of it!
Here are a few of my top picks for stocking stuffers from iCraft:
I have a house full of boys, but I do work in the school system and see the popularity of Hello Kitty among the girls. What a cute little bracelet that is only $5! You can't go wrong with pink beads and bling for a little girl.
I adore handmade soap for many reasons. First of all, it is better for your skin without all the added chemicals. Secondly, my kids have pretty sensitive skin. Finally, it always smells so good! I think this Eucalyptus and Mint Soap would be absolutely perfect for Christmas and winter in general. $22.26 for 4 bars.
Watches are generally on the Christmas list for several of my fellas each Christmas. They make nice surprises and fit really well in stockings. How about this beautiful Aqua and Clear Crystal Silver Watch? The colors are gorgeous and the face is almost vintage. $40.
The perfect scarf can be folded and placed neatly in a stocking and be the perfect surprise for just about anyone on your list. I love the color and the stiching on this Cowl in Lace! The infinity design scarves seem to be all the rage these days and I could see this one looking perfect with boots and your favorite tee. $13.
Every single year my husband receives lip balm in his stocking. It is just a reality of the winter that we are all in need ot if. I like to purchase handmade for the boys especially because I know what is in there! Think about it, if it is going on your lips it is important to know what you are putting on. How about this Cinnamon flavored lip balm for the holidays! If you aren't much of a spice person you might consider vanilla. $3.50.
What is Santa bringing for your stockings this year... a lump of coal or some really cool handmade items?!
