Fall Jewelry Trend: Flesh Tones and Textures

Posted by: Felicia

Who else can feel fall in the air?  We recently had our annual apple picking trip as a family and we are all officially in the mood for fall.  I love the weather and a change of pace in clothing.  Bring on the scarfs, suedes, cords and fairwell to the shorts and my white legs!

This fall I have seen several fun trends appearing in jewelry.  Some of our very own iCraft crafters have caught on and are offering some gorgeous items perfect for apple picking or a stroll among the fallen leaves.

Flesh Tones

One big trend emerging is flesh tones.  I am thrilled about this one because flesh tones go so well with everything.  They are also a classic look that can easily go from day to night.  You will notice flesh tones often paired with gold or a vintage metal.  I love these beautiful Pearl Girl earrings with vintage brass from BeauMonde ($25).

Shell Textures

Who says the beach is only for summer?  Shell textures are making their way into fall fashion this year in a pretty big way.  You will notice different colors, shapes and sizes that are generally paired with other beads and even leather.  If you are looking for a shell option that would work well with most outfits check out this Shell Beaded Necklace with Lapis stone beads from Jewelry and More by Kat ($15).

Geometric Shapes

It is time to dig through some of your old earrings and necklaces because you may have some that went out of style that are finally back!  Remember all of the geometric shapes and and larger looking styles that were around in the late 80's and early 90's?  I have a feeling we are going to be seeing many simple shapes appearing on a large scale.  Check out this Chain Maille Triangle Pendant neclace from Red Rock Designs ($15).

Turquoise

Really, just look for blues in general, but especially turquoise.  I think the color lends itself well to the flesh tones and vintage metals so it makes sense that it would be a trend.  Turquoise is a color that can easily be paired with brown or black and can really give an outfit a statement piece.  How about this gorgeous piece from BeauMonde to make a statement of your own?  This is the Ocean View Necklace ($24).

Which fall fashion trend are you most looking forward to this year?  I would have to say the turquoise is my favorite!
