This lovely durable brown corded cowrie shell necklace is 31 inches long total. I braided the White Matte Nigerian cowrie shells onto strong and lasting brown waxed cotton cording. The braided cowrie shell section is 11 inches long. This necklace cannot be tightened any tighter than 11 inches. The largest cowrie shell is 1 inch long and 3/4 inches wide at the widest point, with the rest of the shells descending in size. It has an adjustable tie closure with accents of brown iridescent glass donut beads at the ends. The best thing about a tie is that you will get your perfect fit. This necklace can be worn close to the neck or lower onto the chest.
