Surprised nobody has commented on the recent site updates yet. Oh well…
Anyway, in case you haven’t noticed yet, we’ve added
Comments feature on all product pages (below product image and “Other Options”), and
additional Twitter widget to let you see how many re-twits your product gets. We are also working on adding a widget in the Community section that will pull all Product Comments, as they are being submitted by site users. This is just another way to promote wonderful products we have on iCraft in other areas of the site.
Speaking of Twitter, those who provided their Twitter ID, as a part of their Profile, will be asked soon to
allow iCraft to submit their product updates to their Twitter Account. You’d be asked to login into Twitter from the link provided by iCraft and allow us to push your product updates and store announcements directly into your Twitter account. More information on this will be provided soon.
We are also
showing now which Creators are currently Online (logged-in on iCraft) by adding small image beside your Creator Exhibit name. This is just the first step toward Live Chat feature that we are working on. Later we hope you will be able to interact with the customers who are looking at your products and answer their questions in real time. For now, users can send you an email when they see that you are currently Online.
We are also going to show a
separate list of All Creators who are currently Online to make it easier for buyers to interact with those Creators, who are present at the time when they are browsing the site.
Another change that is coming –
a Blog.
We are going to turn all articles in the Community section into a blog format, hand-pick a few experienced bloggers who could either write blog posts on iCraft or simply provide a feed from their blog that we could incorporate into our Blog section. This will ensure we are constantly displaying fresh content and will give Community writers even more exposure.
Eventually, we hope more and more Creators will blog on iCraft. We are just going to test it out at first with a few people, so feel free to list your blog links below and let us know if you’d like to participate.
More to come soon!
