I create a variety of handmade knitted and crocheted items for your home, your family, and your pets. I also offer graphite and acrylic painted landscapes, wildlife, and pet portraits on stone, wood, as originals or prints.

Background:
I am an avid crafter who loves to share her love of art with any and all who are interested. My love of creativity began at an early age and it was the beginning of a life-long friendship.

I love to create with my hands, either creating my own ideas or following someone else's example. My Gramma and Mom encouraged and guided me. They are my Creative Mentors. At an early age, my Mom bought me an embroidery sampler. I enjoyed so much, I proceeded to monogram and flower almost every pillowcase and sheets in both my Gramma's and our linen closet. A couple of years later Gramma handed me a crochet hook and a ball of red yarn, showed me a single and a double crochet, and numerous words of encouragement. I've been crocheting ever since. Shortly afterwards my Mom introduced me to knitting and I added knitting to my repertoire of creative endeavours.

Years later a dear friend introduced me to acrylic painting and a new love affair was born. Inspiration abounds while living in a small community in Northwestern Ontario and soon my painted stone fragments sold across the planet. Each painted scene either stirred a fond memory of childhood camping trips or given the individual a sense of tranquility. Whatever the emotion, they have touched the heart of each individual who has purchased one. I have also branched out, to create pet portraits, detailed bird graphite sketches, pastel or acrylic scenery.

Later on, I was bequeathed my Gramma's oil paints and an unfinished painting. It was years later that I was finally able to complete her painting, at which time I chose to paint both our names on our combined efforts.

For many years my interests and imagination have given me hours of creative pleasure.
