Still trying to familiarize myself with kaboodle...I think i'm getting the hang of it.
Got really annoyed at olx.ca and cancelled my acct with them. I don't recommend them. Got no support from them at all until I posted an ad asking how to cancel an acct..lol then within a few hours I received a reply from one of their techs.
I've been really busy sewing and trying to catch up on spring cleaning so I apologize if I couldn't log on yesterday.
Anyway, must move forward...the shop immediately to my left had no listings so the next one is: Beajoux. Wow... I love her shop...it looks professional, she's an incredible artist, her pictures are perfect (wants to know which camera she's using? lol), item descriptions are short and sweet. I even like how she names her jewelry pieces....ring-a-ding bling, volcano eruption ring, sage advice ring, just to name a few. I must say however that https://icraftgifts.com/handmade/11614/aquamaring-bling-swarovski-wire-wrapped-ring.php really caught my eye. I love the way she showcase that particular ring. It really stands out. I've already kaboodled it...lolol (if that's a word!)
Well Beajoux... Excellent job and I wish you lots of luck and prosperity Smiley

Today I made an account on Oodle (I know, I know....I am behind!) and posted two ads.

I cloned two items this morning and listed two items. I tried to clone this afternoon and it is not working - I get code kind of stuff.

Well, the person before me is Unique Creations 2 C
https://icraftgifts.com/unique-creations-2-c

I think the best listing is the cherub.  I love how FULL and vivid the colours are.  It just POPS!  It's a brighter shot than some of the others, but I'll bet it can be tricky working with different colours of background cloth.  The description is succinct and informative.  I only suggested adding metric dimensions.  The extra photos show the stitching pretty well.  Come to think of it, though, maybe a SAMPLE framed shot would be good to add at the end.

The shop before me is DistinQue! https://icraftgifts.com/distinque

What can I say? Gorgeous jewelry, gorgeous photos with very nice backgrounds for the jewelry designs.

Her announcement in the shop is enticing with special sale information, gift box information, her goals for her product line -- very good.

Also, multiple photos of items, good shipping pricing and communications.

If I had to suggest anything, I could suggest filling out the descriptoin a bit. Tell me what they would look good with or coordinate with. What kind of events would I wear this jewelry to - make me visualize myself in those gorgeous earrings, all dolled up for the evening, being the rock star that I am!!

I could suggest editing the announcement so it does not drop down longer than the side bar. But, that is really being picky in this case as there is a dated sale going on that takes that space and will probably be deleted at the end of the sale. I think the iCraft side bar drops down way too far anyway as we have to scroll down to even see any product.

VERY NICE DistinQue!!! I drooled too. Sorry.

Oh my word!  You have to go and have a look at the pic of this Bird Dog...

https://icraftgifts.com/handmade/15194/bird-dog.php

Incredible artwork and amazing talent!

Description and all was good.  think that it would look best to stand back a bit to take pic so we could see the mat and the frame.  There were 5 items in the shop using natural elements from nature. Really cool turkey bookends. I think would be very showy with some red books.

The dog pic is definately a winner here. Nothing is amiss in the shop except that it would be nice to see the items in their natural setting... ie plaques hanging on a wall.

I have such good advice but look in my shop and you see "floating pillows". I need to listen to my own advice and will as soon as I start taking better pictures and not need to white out really bad backgrounds.

I am off to go and do some more kaboodling

The shop before me is mountaindreamers https://icraftgifts.com/mountaindreamers

What a wonderful and inviting shop! From her intro, you feel that she's a very sincere and warm artist.

I really liked how she used the same type of background for all the jewelry. It makes all the pieces "go together", and gives the whole shop a natural feel (no small feat in the world of online shops!). Some of the titles really draw you in too, like "Memories of Tibet".

The one I chose as best was "Glorius Blue": https://icraftgifts.com/handmade/12419/glorious-blue-organic-lampwork-bead-earrings.php . The lighting is perfect, it really shows off the color of the beads.

I will be having a catch up weekend this weekend! I spent a lot of time finishing WIP's yesterday and taking some pictures...I spent very little time on the computer though! So, I will take this evening and tomorrow morning to play catch up online. The weather was so beautiful and sunny and I just wanted to spend the day with a bead board on the deck watching the kids play!

Thank you to Zs Knees and Ensorcelled Minds for visiting my icraft store.

I like receiving feedback, postive and yes negative ones too.  For me after viewing my product pictures and descriptions 50+ times, eventually I come to the conclusion they are a "thing of beauty"

I appreciate Ensorcelled Minds comments and suggestions.  Determining the lighting and distance are always a problem in my product picture taking.  I am going to make some changes and try to incorporate some of your suggestions.

I definitely can't have SAMPLE frame shots because that will affect the prices.  I only have one of each and unframed because it is for customers individual preferences for framing or use in their decor projects.

Thank you for including a personal email, too.

I'll quickly run through my "neighbour shops". Just before me is Uneeec https://icraftgifts.com/uneeec , I love the tree of life pendants and the blue green swirl pendant. The photography on the swirl pendant is so crisp
https://icraftgifts.com/handmade/7734/blue-green-swirl-pendant-and-beads.php, it's gorgeous. My one suggestion would be to add a bit to the shop announcement section, since it's such a large area it looks a little bare.

The shop following me is deebozzz https://icraftgifts.com/deebozzz , wow! I can't offer much critique...photos are great, clear and clean. Everything goes well together and every scarf is gorgeous! I'm actually adding 2 to my Kaboodle wish list as I type! I love this one... https://icraftgifts.com/handmade/15227/in-line-silk-wrap.php
I also think the logo is very clever and now realize that I need a logo!
