WOW! Just came across this amazing post on "How to make roses from maple leaves". Holy cow!  I've never imagined something like this could be done. Where can I find a maple tree now in the middle of the winter?   http://haha.nu/creative/how-to-make-roses-from-maple-leaves/

So neat! I'll have to try that when we get the real leaves again. I wish men made presents like that. Chicks dig that.

Beautiful!  I am lucky enough to have 3 beautiful maples right in my front yard - each over 100 years old.  Unfortunately - they are still covered in snow right now

that is very creative--can't wait until the trees have leaves!

Can any one tell me how to preserve leaves? I have heard you use glycerin, but what do you do with it?

I knew you could do this with ribbon and paper, but I've never seen it with leaves!  Cool.

My daughter is getting married in August...I'm wondering if Green roses would look nice on the table as well.  I'll have to tell her about it.  Thanks for sharing.

That's amazing.  I'll stack maple leaves in the garage this fall.  You all are invited to my house to make roses.  I have a gazillion maple leaves flying around my yard.

Maple leaf of course is soooooo Canadian!

Love it!
