I know that this weekend is Easter and there will be many celebrations so I promise not to make the first assignment too hard.
Second assignment will be on Monday. Third assignment on Wednesday. Fourth assignment on Friday.... and so on.
As a warming up oversize can you please ensure that you have Google Analytics tracking in your store.
If you have any problems email me or ask for help on the forum. Relax and lets have some fun!
Cheers everyone!
Christine

At the risk of sounding like a "keener" would there be a hint for Mondays assignment so I could be a little prepared.... Have a great day fellow bootcampers!

I'm wondering where to add the script? It says cut and paste, but paste where?

I've never been able to get GA set up on any of my sites. I will go and try again though.

For everyone having trouble with setting up Google Analytics, please follow our instructions on this page https://icraftgifts.com/member_google_analytics.php We say skip the copy/paste script step. All we need you to do is to get Profile ID from GA entered on our page. Then wait for 24 hours for GA to collect enough data from your pages to start reporting on it.

I'll put in my 2 cents too because it can be kind of confusing.
Be sure your shop URL is in this convention: Put in: icraftgifts.com/yourshopname because they already have the "Http://" there.
Then, go to the link Admin provided above, which can also be found in your profile page on the left side links. Look under MY STORE and at the bottom is WEB STATS. Click WEB STATS and you land on that page that Admin linked to above and there is a place to put your code. Place your code and submit. Hope this helps!

Thanks admin and Galleria for clarifying. I have done all of that, several times, and it still won't work. The code on my "page source" is different than my GA code, which is the same code that I copy and paste to my Icraft web stats page. I'm very confuzzled! I can't work out what I'm doing wrong (if anything).

Hi Roberta!
It is zero until it starts tracking which takes a day or two and then for the first 30 days until you have some "history" it doesn't tell you much other than your views are going up up up!!!
Hang in there at least you are hooked up. We'll get you some views!
Cheers Christine

Super! I'm glad GA is up and running for all of you.
If anyone else is having a problem let me know I can do it for you but need to send instructions privately.
Contact me via email is easiest!
Wow... we are making headway!
Cheers
