Handmade Store: Crystal Creations by Roberta Leake

Hi. My name is Roberta. I live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Frederick County, Virginia.

I began bead crafting several years ago when I became intrigued by the one dimensional snowflake kits I found in the local Michael's Craft Store. I thought that these ornaments would be even more beautiful with glass beads as opposed to the acrylic ones. Hence, my own unique designs developed as I incorporated different desigining techniques as well as Semi-precious Gemstones, Freshwater Pearls and Cloisonne into their creation. I further developed into the Jewelry making aspect, and the rest is history.

I really enjoy learning new techniques, the bead shopping,meeting new friends and everything else that goes with it.
