Beads! I quit smoking a couple of years ago and found beads to be quite helpful in keeping my hands and mind busy. They are my new found passion! I can't make it out of the bead store without spending too much on all the beautiful beads I find. I find a strand I love and immediately think, "what would go good with this?" And then I can't wait to get started on a new project.
All of my life I have enjoyed various types of arts and crafts. When I was about 12 I dabbled with beads making earrings and learning how to sew the small seed beads together. In high school I took a jewelry making course that really got my inspiration going, I just never had the wherewithal to pursue it. My medium of choice for the longest time was colored pencil and I have several framed pictures throughout my home. I love to draw, I love detail, and I absolutely love color!
