Handmade Store: Madera Bonita Preety Wood

Woodwork is a life long passion for me and I am so fortunate to be able to do what I love for work. I started this business six years ago in a small shop in Up-State New York mostly designing Puzzle Boxes and creating prototypes. I sell to mostly hi-end galleries and gift shops. We use only Beechwood in our puzzle boxes because it is sustainable resource, easy to hand carve and not prone to warping. Along with Puzzle Boxes I also create turned wood vessels, Bowls and Kitchen Canister sets.
