A couple of questions from a newbie

Hi Everyone:

I'm Pam from neatTreats and I'm in the process of loading product onto my site.  I have a couple of questions.  First off, does anyone use the local pickup option, and if so, what's your experience been like using that?

Secondly, I'm a little confused on the shipping rates I'm seeing posted for Canada Post.  When it says something like $9.50 CAD ($0.50 CAD when combined with another item).  Does that mean that the buyer pays $9.50 for the first item and $0.50 for each additonal item, or - and I'm sure this is going to sound ridiculous - if the buyer orders more than one item do they simply pay $0.50 in shipping?  I hope you don't mind the questions, but I'd really appreciate some input.

Many thanks.

Yes, that is what the shipping rates mean.  So if someone orders 3 items, they would pay $10.50 in shipping ($9.50 + 0.50 + 0.50).
