Have you ever made something so cool that people have tried to buy it off you?   What was it?

well.. i had made felt necklace for contest and after that contest there were bunch of people trying to buy it and ignoring my arguments that i was going to leave this neckpiece for myself. (i could never imagine sell items i had wore once or i had planed to leave for myself. NEVER! and i am not keen to make duplicates as well - as it is not interesting anymore, you know:) ).

and i was not keen to duplicate it also because making it was really pain in the ass ( a lot of patience. A LOT). but then came one girl which was constantly repeating that she can't live without it furthermore (she even bought dress especially for this neckpiece even after i said i won't sell it) so i made duplicate for her finally. oh, you can't imagine how satisfied she was Smiley

here it is :

WOW, very nice necklace, Beta! I like it a lot.
Too bad you are not interested in reproducing it, because I'd order one for myself.

My Kids!  I let them stew in my belly for nine months and they both came out perfect.  Wink

Everything else I create I love for a few days, then look at it and say to myself, "I can do better".

I'm a jewelry designer and last year, before I went out on my deliveries to drop off some custom orders to people, I made a new piece in pale blue and pale sparkly creams.  Every customer I saw that day was mesmerized by it and they ALL wanted to buy it off of me!!  I kept telling them I had JUST finished and hadn't even taken photos of it yet, so they had to wait.  I tell ya, that was a great feeling!  Smiley

A friend saw it and took 6 bars.

I was flattered.

I don't know that is my best ever, but my pocket pal giraffe and elephant sell quite well. They are between 5 & 7 inch.

I found an old rickety table for little or nothing a few years ago and hand painted roses on it.  I use it to hold my cash box at craft sales and get asked all the time if it's for sale.  It's one of the few things I've kept for myself and it's staying at my house!   Smiley

Some fantastic stuff in here! Definetly amazing work! I think this is my favorite right now, I just cannot part with it. I wore it on a ribbon to Starbucks and the girl behind the counter really wanted to buy it. Maybe when I get tired of it I'll give it to her, they treat me really well!

Yes, the scarf is just lovely, The Knitting Lady! I am a big fan of vibrant colors. Though, I am surprised it hasn't been sold yet with all the Christmas shopping happening right now.
