Handmade Store: Alyburd Designs

When I was around 8 years old, my mother bought an economy bag of plastic beads and some golden elastic thread for me from the local craft store. That is where is all began. I spent the day making my beautiful creations and then grabed my baton, put on my roller skates and I was off. Door to door I went, with my necklaces swinging on the baton, pigtails flying in the wind, selling my wares for a quarter a piece. (Kids could do that 20 years ago) I did quite well that day.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
*I did not know how to twirl the baton, like my sister did, but I still put it to good use.
*The baton was a metal one with white knobs, not the cool plastic one with glitter in the tube.

Over the years, I developed my jewelry techniques, and it has evolved into the unique, versitile jewelry you see here today.
