Just stopping by to say hi and wish everyone luck with their shop.  I design and make jewelry and do a little bit of almost everything in that category lol!  I tend to bore easily and like to be able to make a design from start to finish so I am pursuing lapidary work, metal smithing, wire wrapping, lost wax casting, bead weaving, polymer clay, and resin.  I also am planning on learning how to make lamp work beads and chainmaille.  For now I have to say I like the lapidary work, metal smithing and wire wrapping the best.  Would love to hear what you are passionate about in what you do!

Ooops - forgot to mention what I'm passionate about. I LOVE metalwork- it's just amazing watching a piece of metal move as you work with it. But you won't find it on my sites yet - I've taken courses but don't feel I'm good enough yet - and I've been procrastinating for about a year now is setting up a workspace just for that.

Thanks  Beadlam I am guessing you meant me since we are the only ones on this particular thread.  You don't want to know how many times I have taken pictures to get to this point lol! (I have 232 items listed elsewhere that I am slowly importing here).  Set that workshop up and get started!  I finally did mine and am having a ball.  I am really coming to love my saw and torch.  I will be listing new stuff on that front soon.  Lots of luck and have a good one!

Your wire wrapping is beautiful - love those Chalcedony earrings!  I recently started to do chainmaille, but I have yet to use a saw!  I'd love to torch something but I'm still too afraid of the fire!

I'm a bit late in welcoming Silver River Jewelry to the community.  You've got some great stuff in your shop.  

I love doing metal work - however - I can't stand sawing - just absolutely hate it.  But I love my torch.  I love watching my silver move.  Sometimes, though, when things aren't going the way they should,  I like to take a few silver scraps and vaporize them.  :twisted: But not too often now with the cost of silver.    It's strangely satisfying to do that.
