So true!  I find myself explaining the oddest things at times... like that we call fabric softener by that name and he calls it bleach... haha, whaaat? so weird... but at least it's entertaining. haha, I think?

A few of my friends have travelled to and-or gone to school in Australia and all seem to really like it... hope you're enjoying good weather!  It's been quite cold and windy in Budapest...haha, why couldn't I have met someone from a warmer climate?

I wanted to add my own little cross-cultural observation:

My husband is English, of Indian descent - he has his own little language and you have to read between the lines to figure out what he's saying.  First, I thought it was a English English vs. American English thing - it isn't - his own family has a hard time figuring what he saying.  :wink:
