Making the front page!

Checked the other day to find my earrings right there on the front page!  I was thrilled as unique page views are pretty slow to come by recently.  

Just wondered how they were selected?  is it random?

Anyhoo, hows everyone else faring at the moment?  things slow for everyone or is it just coz theres sooo much competition and variety out there when it comes to beaded jewellery?  

Anyone had any good ideas how to market/advertise their page?
