Hello iCrafters,

The about.com DIY Fashion site has opened nominations for its sixth annual Readers’ Choice Awards!

You can nominate iCraftGifts.com for the Best Online Handmade Marketplace, using this nomination form. The more nominations; the more likely iCraftGifts.com will become a finalist, and eligible for the winning vote. Nominees will be chosen based on both credibility and the number of nominations.

What can you do to help? Let all your contacts on Facebook, Twitter and other social media outlets know about the awards. Be sure to use the new site name iCraftGifts.com in your nomination. You have until February 11th to nominate before the finalists are chosen!

Five finalists from each category will advance to the final round of voting. With hundreds of thousands of readers participating, it truly is an honour just to be nominated!

From February 19 to March 19, 2013 you will be able to vote for your favorite finalist. The winner is the choice of the readers. The winner in each category will be announced on March 27, 2013.

By the way, we didn't win, but we were named one of the finalists in 2011 About.com DIY Fashion Readers' Choice Award Competition in the "Best Online Handmade Marketplace" category. Grin

And one of our Creators Jewelry Designer Ahkriti, was among the Finalists in the "Favorite Handmade Artisan, Jewelry Design" category. So don't forget to nominate your fellow iCrafters in different categories! Wink

It seems that you still have time to nominate iCraftgifts.com for your favourite online craft marketplace in the about.com DIY Fashion site Readers’ Choice Awards. You can also nominate your fellow iCrafters in other categories.

The site says nominations were to close on February 11, but it appears that the nominations are still open!
