SEO for Pictures
Our final assignment is about optimizing our pictures for SEO .
All we can do with pictures is to add Alt tags to them although Alt tags are part of the code to which we have no access to. Admin does.
What we CAN DO is to provide descriptive Captions for each product image and Admin inserts them into image Alt tags. Follow this link to my blue and white striped pillow. I have the title, description and tags optimized around “blue and white pillow”.
We can write longer captions. Just try to start your Captions with good keywords.
Since you have up to 6 images for each product, you need to be creative in changing Captions and not repeating the same one 6 times.
