We've been receiving a lot of emails from buyers recently wondering if their order has been shipped.
Please make sure you stay in close contact with your buyers from beginning till end. All they want to know most of the times is that everything is ok. You can communicate that to them by updating Shipping date on the Order details page. Simply go to "My Sales" and click on Order number. Buyer will receive an email confirmation as soon as you update that field. Thanks!

I have been using the order shipped feature, but I didn't realize the buyer received an email confirmation when doing this.  That is a great feature!  

I usually send an email to let them know I've received the order and when it will be shipped.  Now I know they are also informed once I have shipped.  Thanks for creating this feature which makes it easy to provide good customer service and reassurance to customers.

Wow I am glad I read this.  I usually email the buyer right away and let them know I received the order and when I ship to let them know how much postage was and if they will receive any refund. My notes to buyers are not always the most professional looking or consistent so this would be a big help!
