Handmade Store: Wickwire Cottage

My grandmother first inspired my interest in crafting when I was young. As a teen, my interest focused on cross stitch and embroidery. I also learned the basics of sewing in Home Ec class and through a private tutor. From there I explored a variety of crafts, including painting, beading, jewelry making, scrapbooking, loom weaving, and plastic canvas. For the past ten years, I have focused mainly on crochet. I especially enjoy using variegated and multi colored yarns.

Along with crochet, I keep busy by homeschooling and running our household of eight. I am also interested in learning to garden, to bake from scratch, and to can. I would also like to try knitting and tatting.
