Handmade Store: Tum Tum Tree Designs

My background is in interior design, having a studied applied design at the post secondary level. I learned to sew at a very young age from my Mom and Gramma and I come from a long line of crafty DIYers.

After having my children I left the corporate design world, wanting to raise my kids hands-on. I decided to put my sewing skills and design studies together and created a line of children's clothing. The environmentalist in me would have it no other way than to begin a sustainable business from scratch, and so Tum Tum Tree Designs was born.

My designs feature mainly hemp fabrics, some are Hemp/Cotton blends (usually 55%hemp, 45% cotton). I also use some reclaimed fabrics which are mostly vintage cotton prints.
