Superhero-inspired tshirts

I am the mother of two preschool-age boys so there is a lot of superhero play in my house. I began making superhero shirts for them. These designs are created using recycled tees. I starch the fabric to make it easier to cut and handle, then stitch them on to shirts from American Apparel.
Some fraying and curling will occur around the edges after washing, but this part of the look and style of the design.
