Handmade Store: The Crafty Housewives

My friend and I love crafts. We used to dream of the day when we would have the time to create our own designs without our husbands, children, job and sometimes pets, interfering. Well, the day came when we both stopped working at our jobs and stayed home. That's when we became the crafty housewives!

Everything handmade is a marvel to us and we love challenging ourselves with new ideas, materials and techniques. I (Maika) design jewelry. I love natural materials like stones, shell, glass and wood. I make one-of-a-kind designs. I also love photography. I enjoy taking pictures of nature, plants, flowers and animals. My friend (Chantal) makes greeting cards. She loves bright, fun colors and textures.
