Handmade Store: The AWW Shoppe
There is really no set pattern to my jewelry making; I make each piece as I'm inspired. I do not watch YouTube videos or visit websites, etc. for ideas and I very rarely make more than one of the same piece in order to make each piece unique.
The name of my shoppe reflects my name: Angelia Wicker Williams (AWW)-The AWW (ahhhhh :o) Shoppe.
My nephew is actually responsible for my beading hobby. He visited us one summer and was making pony bead bracelets which sparked my interest in beading. From there, I started making jewelry for myself and selling it after people inquired about some pieces I wore.
One goal in selling my items is to price all items reasonably. I remember being a single mother and walking through various stores seeing such beautiful jewelry pieces, but not being able to afford them. Although I sell my items to make money, I try to keep an idea of what I would pay for each piece in mind. If I wouldn't pay it, I don't want you paying it. It's that simple.
