Handmade Store: Sally Abramat

Everything I make is hand crafted by me, and my family. I have been crafting & sewing for a few years now, and it makes me happy to make things I know others will enjoy, love, or gift to someone else.
I started making baby bibs when my kids were little, and enjoy making them as gifts for others. As the kids have grown, and having a child with special needs, I began trying to find ways to help with sensory issues, and decided to start making weighted blankets, before they became available in the local stores. The benefits the weighted blankets can provide for so many different things are worth the time it takes to make them. My kids are my inspirations for lots of the things I make, they see something and say "Mom, you can so make this!" My grandmother loved to sew, and I can only hope someday to be as talented as she was.
