Handmade Store: Olga Belova Silk Art Boutique

All silk items which you will find in this boutique are designed and brush hand painted by me. I am using my own techniques which I developed during 15 years of experimenting with different painting processes on this unique fabric. It is a direct 'paint-on' method with specific silk paints applied to the fabric. Saturation is controlled during painting layer by layer till I am sure of the color’s integrity. Every piece is then color-fixed, so that the colors would not fade away during the washing process and would keep you happy for many years to come. Each and every painted item is one of a kind within my collection of “Luxury Silk Art”.
Most of my designs are inspired by nature and traditional Oriental & Western cultures. The feel of pure silk and the brilliance of colors - combined with the artistic creativity - bring a fascinating result.

Several of my works are now held in private collections in Russia, USA, Germany, Holland, Latvia, Lithuania, France, New Zealand, and of course Egypt where I reside.
