Custom t-shirts with African embroidery work
Hand embroidered patches of Africa decorate well-fitting, top quality T-shirts produced by the non-profit Nomad Foundation to benefit the nomadic tribes of northern Niger.
The embroidery is done by women of the Wodaabe tribe living in Niger's Sahara Desert. These women painstakingly stitch symbols and patterns that traditionally have decorated their festive tunics and sarongs.
T-shirts come in all sizes and various colors, in tank-tops, short sleeve and long sleeve. Each shirt is unique.
Another style features Wodaabe embroidery in the shape of flower pedals stitched onto the T-shirts in a variety of unique clusters.
100% of the proceeds from sale of these T-shirts benefits the Nomad Foundation, dedicated to improving the lifestyle and preserving the artistic and cultural traditions of nomadic people in Niger.
