I am enthusiastic about working with fibre, especially natural fibre and using it to create unique pieces of wearable or decorative art. I especially enjoy the challenges of knitting lace and many of my creations employ that technique.
I am enthralled by the colours that nature provides for our use in dyeing our fibres and experiment with natural dyeing, but do not use harmful chemicals as mordants for the yarns and fibres.

All of my items are hand made - knitted , crocheted, or woven. Some are made from my own handspun yarns, others from commercially spun yarns. Most of my work is created using either 100% natural fibres or a blend that is predominantly natural fibres.

Since I do not enjoy doing the same thing more than once, most of my creations are truly "one-of-a-kind". I have many more items that are not listed on this site. please contact me if you are looking for something truly special and unique.

I hand-spin many of the yarns used in my projects. I also custom spin pet hair (dog, cat) into yarn that you can use in your own projects. What a great momento of your own beloved pet. Please contact me for details and costs.
