Maddylane, as a designer and freelance columnist, I have over 25 years designing experience in my field. My specialty is creating innovative, savvy yet accessible home decorative MIY (make-it-yourself) projects for my weekly syndicated d?cor columns. I like to transform ordinary every-day objects into trendy decorative accents for the home and garden. This passion started at an early age for me. My design career started in the fashion industry and over the years switched over to decor.
With a love for photography and merchandising, I enjoy taking all the stylish pictures for my MIY articles. My up-to-date and imaginative ideas are due to her combined backgrounds both as a fashion and giftware designer, which has created my trademark and distinctive style.
