Hi!
Thanks for checking out Little Grey Cat Designs. My name is Maggie, and I'm a student in sunny San Diego. My "little grey cat" is Clio, and she supervises all of my crafting. My home and any of the public places I might knit or spin are smoke-free--I love living in California!
I love to knit, and have a small yarn-buying addiction. Lately, though, the yarn-buying has turned to fiber-buying to allow me to spin my heart out on Cora, my new spinning wheel.

I am able to knit and spin many, many things, and to meet many special needs (vegan, allergies, machine washable, etc). If you can think of it, I can most likely think of a way to make it for you. I work from my head most of the time--if I ever use a pattern, it will be with permission and is noted in the item listing. Don't hesitate to ask for something custom--special orders are a mainstay of my local business. I will generally require a deposit of 30-50% (depending on the cost of the item) before beginning work on a custom order, however.

**COLOR REPRESENTATION**
I represent the colors of my items as best I can. I take care to use the best lighting available for my photographs, and I use Photoshop to make sure that my onscreen representation is as close as possible to the real thing. However, all monitors are different, and it may not look precisely the same on your screen as it does on mine.

**CARE INSTRUCTIONS**
All of my knitted items and handspun yarns should be hand washed in cool to warm water and dried flat, unless otherwise specified.

**SHIPPING INFORMATION**
Shipping within the US will always have a confirmation number. I will give it to you by e-mail/convo as soon as I have it so you can track your wonderful little present winding its way to your house. Unless you request otherwise, I will ship USPS Priority, and insurance is available with that for $1.65 extra.

International shipping will be sent USPS First Class International unless you request otherwise (which may cost extra). This method does not have insurance or tracking, but does allow for proof of shipment.
If you prefer to have those other options, please let me know during checkout and I will send you a revised invoice to reflect the increase in shipping costs. Priority International to Canada is $16, and the rest of my listed locations are about $20.

**SALES TAX**
Effective immediately, there will be 8.25% sales tax for CA shipments - these include those shipped from out of state (PLEASE enter the correct CA shipping address at PayPal so the sales tax will be calculated automatically)

**RETURN POLICY**
Generally, I am unable to accept returns. I make every effort to accurately describe my work in the listing, and I am always happy to answer further questions or provide more information. However, please contact me if you feel that an error has been made on my part or if you are truly unhappy with your order, and we will work it out to everyone's agreement.
