My name is Michelle Hintnaus, I am from beautiful Cape Town, South Africa......... but I now call Katy, Texas home. I make my clothing "Kidzoo" for boys and girls, Newborn - age 12 years, everything is PRESHRUNK and it is all machine washable and can go into the dryer.

I started making clothing in the US when my daughter Sage, was a baby... I loved dressing her in original works of art, love accessorizing her, as you can do when your girls are little...... now she is 16.... into sports and wears sweats and shorts.......... so I get fun out of dressing your little cutie and love every moment of what I do!

I use 100% cotton and cotton/lycra fabrics, I create the designs, make all my own patterns and do all the cutting.. I then have a lady that sews for me. When the outfit is sewn, I then preshrink and often hand dye the outfit before I hand paint it, it is then washed again to soften and set the paint. I make matching accessories, headbands, hats, socks etc I love bright vivid colors for kids, with lots of HAND PAINTED AFRICAN ANIMALS, BUTTERFLIES, FISH, FLOWERS, SPOTS, STRIPES AND FLOWERS ... love to mix and match fabrics.

My inspiration comes from the wonderful hand painted children's clothing that is made in Cape Town, South Africa... Indygo and Balu..... and many others!
