I am a one year breast cancer survivor, I'm doing great right now, while the last year has had it's rough moments I have also learned a lot about myself. One of the things that I've learned is that it is the simple things that matter most in life. A card in the mail or someone handing you a simple small gift just to let you know that they are thinking of you can mean so much when everyday is a battle.

I firmly believe in random acts of kindness, everyone of us is fighting our own personal battles some tougher than others. We never know what a person is going through so keep a few small gift items around to hand out when someone looks like they are having a bad day or stick a post card in the mail to someone you haven't seen in awhile, it really means a lot.

I received many cards and small thoughtful gifts from people that I did not even know and it always made me feel so good.

I love sewing and crafting and my main goal with my little store is to help pay for my fun in creating items that are inexpensive and can be given away just to brighten someones day, sort of the PAY IT FORWARD idea. So I make a few of each item for myself and then post some for sale so that I can buy more fabric and thread. We all win.
