It's very simple. Just like everything else, chainmaille has been reworked over the years and finally now the different weaves can produce very interesting and unusual pieces. Along with the reworking of the chainmaille, the names of the particular weaves are being changed depending on what book you find the weave in. For instance, Helm Weave is also known as a Parallel weave. So if you see a piece of chainmaille, but it has a different name you are used to - that's normal.

Now, this necklace is made using the Helm weave and as a focal point - a ceramic bead that highlights the colors of purple and green for the chain or weave. The closure is a slide closure and is easy to open and close. The necklace measures 15 inches.
