erene sounding silver Seahorse ceramic wind chime made from a high fired clay.

I hand-rolled this 4" disc (10cm) and carved it with a seahorse, fired, then glazed and fired it once again. Once cooled, I painted the seahorse with silver ceramic paint.

8 pieces of fired clay ceramic pieces are strung onto a strong cotton cord that gently sounds like a mix of wood and metal when the wind picks up.

Total length from top of hook to bottom is 16.5 inches long (42 cm). The hook is made of chainmail rings and steel.
