First in a series of Chinese Knot Jewelry, this lovely necklace has a Natural Brecciated Jasper (or Poppy Jasper) as the base for a gold silk cord Prosperity Knot. The Jasper's 40mm by approx. 7mm size sets the stage perfectly for the prosperity knot. The Jasper has multi-colors, so if you twirl it you may have, as in the first photo, greens, reds and golds; then twirl it and you have, in addition, a light gold 'sun'! Following the focal point are antique gold beads, button knots and end with a gold-filled decorative toggle clasp. The entire creation is on a 2mm gold silk cord.

The overall length of the necklace is approx. 17 1/2", including toggle clasp. It's hard to measure because the knot holding the jasper is partially included in the length; but not included in the length dimension. When putting the two sides together, the necklace is approx. 10 1/4" drop from the toggle clasp.
