This listing is for one 26 x 26 inch white flour sack towel embroidered with a beautiful teapot and teacup design. You can choose any colour you want - the one here shows a mix of dark and light green but any two colour combination will work; you can also choose all the same colour.

QUILT BLOCK: This design can also be embroidered on a 10 x 10 piece of white, cream or black fabric to use in a quilt or any other sewing project - pillow, table runner, bag, etc.

Flour sack towels are legendary. They have been around for generations. Many many years ago, when people were still buying their flour by the 50 or 100 pound bags, they would use up all the flour and then wash, bleach cut and hem the fabric to make a towel. These were mostly the only towels in the house; they were used in the kitchen, for cleaning and polishing. They would also be used as diapers, underclothing and even to make bedding.
