I have taken various dried leaves found in my pathway of life. Some blown about from communities and neighborhoods many picked up at curbside and from parking lots vulnerable to weathering and decay.

I received them to myself not based on any obvious merit of their own. More-so, by foresight in seeing them already as finished works of artistic expression. So I brought them into my house, to clean them up and to sanitize them.

That's when dialogue opened up, they became less ridgit and more pliable in my hands. Forming some, shaping others adding color and expression to each one personally. Finally to be sealed with a coating of purpose.Though all are of the family of leaves each one has become unique and wonderfully made a new.

To bear a distinction unmatched by any other though some may reflect similarity of like color or not. Being now secure in their individuality, they can work in uni some with any other surrounding of leaves. To collectively express a mosaic tapestry of the transforming artistry of amazing grace.
