Knowing and living with the Inuit in Nunavut, I was struck by their joyful acceptance of limitation of the lack of materials and the very high price of their foods. I was fortunate to get a chance to visit their homes and land. I wish I had the words to describe the essence of these peoples and their works of Art. One of the big subjects in Inuit Art is their traditional way of life. In their art, many Inuit are making a visual history to show how their ancestors adapted to living in one of the harshest climates on earth. Even though I could never live there because of the extreme cold and storms, I learned to respect and left with great sadness and an admiration for the beautiful native Alaskan. My heart was changed forever by the Inuit??™s spirit, and this is why I paint these renderings of the beautiful spirits of the North. The name of this exhibition is: Spirits of the North Size: 11??? x 14??? (I vory , double matting? 16??? x 20???)?  Watercolor, Acrylic, Watercolor Paper, Cold Pressed and Acid Free. I will? provide a certificate of authenticity tor each painting sold. Only 1 available
