A – Announce yourself. If you’re the newbie on the block, it’s always a good idea to announce yourself and let people know a little bit about you. No one can interact with you if you’re not letting people know who you are.

B – Be bold. Give people a clue to what you’re all about, your personality, your charisma, your humorous side. The bolder you are, the better chance you’ll attract more quality followers.

C – Creative. When you’re twittering, you need add some spice to your mix of tweets. Share a favorite photograph, a special song, or maybe just a great article you discovered.

D – Diversity.  Sprinkle your tweets with diverse feedback and opinions. Share testimonials and opeds from around the twittosphere

E – Express yourself.  Make yourself stand out from the crowd of tweeters by bringing out your personality.

F – Fun, fun, fun. All work and no play makes the twittosphere a dull scene. Add a little tweet about your favorite whatever.

G – Go for the gold. If you’re an entrepreneur trying to test the twitter stream with your ideas and goals, don’t hold back when an opportunity arises.

H – Humor.  Add just enough wit and spontaneity makes for a stimulating, virtual conversation.

I – Intrigue. Curiosity killed the cat, but a little intrigue never hurt any tweeple. Don’t give away the whole bag of goods you offer. Lure people to your message with small nibbles is key.

J – Be a jester. Comical antics that don’t cross politically incorrect lines can be very effective in gaining  potential friendships and business relationships.

K – Kaleidoscope. Ever looked through one of those old-timey kaleidoscopes? Paint your twittosphere with lots of colors and thoughts. The more magic you add to the mix; the more "interesting " you becomes to others.

L – Legacy. When you tweet you are leaving a virtual footprint on the World Wide Web. Make sure leaves a good impression and not something that will embarrass you in years to come.

M – Magic! Penn and Teller make the stage come alive when they present their magical, mystical, gravity-defying tricks. That’s what gives them the edge in this hard-to-break-into metaphysical performing art field. What edge do you have to offer?

N – Noggin. Peeps use your noggin. If you’re simply ranting and raving about how life sucks and why you hate so-and-so, then you’re bringing negative energy to the twittosphere.

O – Open your mind to new ideas, new twitter apps, and the thoughts of others. When you do, you create a twitter-friendly environment for others to visit and follow.

P – Positivity. Remember the law of attraction? You need to tweet positive posts. Laugh (LOL) in spite of yourself, share an uplifting tune, an insightful quote, or just share a great passage from a book you’ve read.

Q – Question. Ask questions to learn about your followers. The more interest you show in others, the more interest they’ll show in you.

R – Relax. Don’t turn twittering into a chore. Relax tweeple! Twitter is an engaging portal where we can all learn from one another.

S – Streamline. Streamline and fine-tune your tweets. Be succinct and easy to uderstand. When you do, you find that others will be more responsive and engaging in your conversation.

T – Thoughtfulness. When you’re thoughtful of others’ tweets, and make retweeting (RT) and responding a mainstay in your tweeting dialogue, you discover that more valuable tweeple will start hitching a ride on your own TwitterExpress.

U – Unity. The nicest part about twitter is that it is a virtual community of unity. The “we’re all together in this” atmosphere is what makes twitter so popular and so easily facilitated by thousands.

V – Valor. Demonstrate valor in your tweets. If you’re afraid to speak your mind or think outside the box, then you’re not experiencing twitter the way it was intended. Go ahead and be courageous.

W – Watchful. If you sit back and watch what others are discussing, you’ll find a relevant way to add to the conversation. But remember if you don't have anything good to say then maybe don't say it.

X – Learn the X’s and O’s of twitter tweets. Rereplacement ways to understand and write the language of instant messaging. For example, XOXOXO translates to hugs and kisses. “PI” represents “politically incorrect.”  Netlingo.com is one of many excellent sources of Internet speak, so check it out.

Y – You make the difference in the real world, just as you do in the twittosphere. What are you contributing?  Are you there for friendship, business partnerships, or just to voice your opinion? Make your tweets meaningful and informative.
