Cheesy

My name is BJ and I'm owner of Adornments by BJ, Jewelry Designer and Creator.  I'm not really a 'southerner', just for the last 12 years.  I was born and raised in Bellevue, Washington, then moved to Wausau, WI (cultural shock!) where I remained with my husband and three daughters for the next 26 years.  Moved to Tennessee for job reasons and took the attitude that this was a new adventure for us.  Two of our daughters and their families (minus husbands) which at the time consisted of two boys and two girls, followed us to Tennessee within the year following our move.    Add another boy for the daughter with the girls and a newly adopted Vietnamese granddaughter to the oldest daughter and husband who live in Minnesota, and we now have 6 grandchildren!  Not sure what else to do on iCraftGifts.com but am trying to network and sell my jewelry.  I imagine you all are trying to do the same thing!  This is a very user-friendly site and hope to contribute to its success.  Thanks Lisa, for inviting me to join.

Hope to get to know you fellow creative types!

Hello BJ - Once a Washingtonian - always a Washingtonian - that's what I always say.  I'm not from Bellevue - though I did work there for a time.  I actually live in Tacoma (moved down from Seattle).

Anyway, welcome to the group.  Your jewelry is lovely.

Hi Martha!

Yes, always have considered myself a Washingtonian.  Have tried to move back to Washington several times over the years but the job market wasn't conducive to returning 'home'  Now I'm at a point where I'd like to retire in the Northwest - somewhere on one of the islands if we ever could afford a small cabin like house that I can fit my grand piano and my jewelry stuff in!

My parents moved from Bellevue to Tacoma a couple of years ago to a retirement village and my sister lives in Gig Harbor.  My Dad is 90 yrs old and my Mom just turned 88!  I'm hoping to visit in July when the 'Tall Ships" arrive in the harbor !
