Hi -

I've been adding product photos and have noticed that some of them are getting cut off in the Listed Items gallery (they're fine when you click to their page).

I know that the tips say product pictures should  have a width of 860 px or less, but I wonder what the best height and width would be for the gallery.

Another question - although all my pictures have been optimized for the Web (at least, Photoshop says so), I occassionally get an error message when I submit more than two or three pictures. I know you can submit up to 6 - so I'm wondering what the size limit should be per picture.

Thanks.

Hi Leanne,

We have found that the best way to ensure product images look their best is to submit images which are 860 x 694 px in dimension.  We also ask that users don't composition their photos so that the products are close to the bottom of the image since that is where we do our cropping, if necessary. It's best to keep some background or white space around your product.

As for the image size limit. The only limiting factor here is your internet connection. Server can time out if it takes too long to upload those 6 images. We suggest to upload 2 at a time or even 1 at a time, if each image is 4 MB or so. Optimizing images for the web, before uploading them, would definetely help.

Thanks and let us know if we can be of anymore help.
