"Live Help" Chat Feature Removed: New Interactive Chat Coming Soon!
While we strongly believe that instant communication is a great tool and helpful for Visitors, our version of the "Live Help" chat feature is no longer available on iCraftGifts.com. This tool was created in order to provide prompt responses to website-related issues, but instead received inquiries directed to Creators, not to site administrators, as originally intended.
Although we are sorry to see this version of iCraft instant messaging go, the good news is that we learned what will be most helpful to all iCrafters: an interactive chat between Visitors and Creators!
A chat feature that allows direct communication between Visitors and Creators is in development right now! It will work by indicating an "Online" status beside the name of a Creator who is logged into the site. Interested Visitors can then click on the Creator's "Online Chat" icon, enabling them to ask their questions in a Chat window . This feature will be a fantastic opportunity to have questions answered quickly and easily, helping both Visitors and Creators! In addition, your Chat History will be logged in your "My Account" section if needed for future reference.
This tool will help promote more traffic to Creators who are frequently online, as your status is visible to all Visitors, and also provides a great opportunity to build relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service, leading to more great referrals!
