I need to update the photos on my listing and also add a new listing. I'm not able to find buttons in my accumt to do either.

Click on any of your products Titles or Images. It will take you to product Edit page.
Scroll down to "Product Photos and Colors" on that page. Photos are organized by Color. Click on Remove link below each image to remove them or click on "Add Photos" button above images to add new photos. You can add up to 10 images per color and 10 colors max, so 100 images per listing total.
